gif image missing?

I have created a website with links as gif images.

Now when this page loads, this particular gif image link shows a little red cross in it's place?

When i refresh the page, it then appears perfectly??

All the other gif image links appear perfectly??

All i can think is that i have a mouse over script in javascript.

When the mouse is moved over the gif image link, a jpg image link appears??

Will this have any bearing on the problem??

If so, why aren't the other gif image links affected??

It shoudn't make any difference what type of file the image is. So can you post you code or provide a link to the page in question?
