Make A Colored Image B&W In Flash

Can you make a coloured image B&W in Flash? Or will I have to have to images one colour and one black and white and fade one on top of the other?

Hi,
Are you using Flash 8?
I know how to do this in flash 8.

What you'll need to do is convert your image into a movie clip.
Have your mc in frame 1 (for example) then make a new key frame in frame 10 and 20.
Then click on frame 10, select your mc on the stage, from the Filters tab in the properties panel select Adjust Colour and slide it down to 0.
Then simply add a motion tween to your animation and HEY PRESTO!!
