please help

I know very little about computers so any help would be appreciated. I maintain a website through Yahoo!Geocities. Recently, my computer had a virus and my hard drive had to be erased and all my programs reloaded into the computer. In order to be able to continue to maintain my site, I need to have Java and I have no idea what that is or where to get it. The Yahoo!Pagebuilder program will not load without it. Can anyone tell me where and how to find this Java thing?
PS. Yahoo gave me a link to a free Java download, but my computer won't let me download it because the signature doesn't match or something. Does this mean it has a virus or is my firewall being overprotective or what?

Yahoo! should have a link to it on their site when you try to initialize the pagebuilder, but their are two JVMs: one from Microsoft (MS JVM) and the one from Sun (JVM). For what they've got, you'll probably need Sun's version... The link is somewhere on their site.
