IE's Adressbar element name

Hi all!
I got a question:
Does anybody know how the element is called that is used in the IE adress bar? If you enter anything it shows similar entries. If anybody has its id or its name plz post it.

why do you need it? What exactly are you trying to do?

I am coding a search program which should show the search strings that already have been entered
i just found some components containing the word autocomplete i'm gonna try to use them.
