suggestions for website

hey guys,
we are planning to beef up our website and i would like to hear some suggestions from you guys. We have used cold fusion for our website but somehow i feel it can be made better and more popular in search engines. I have added our URL to quite a few search engines. Also, are there any legal issues involved if we design a website and put a small company link at the bottom.

Well your doing a great job for your current clients... I remember going to the Knoxville Symphony in the past. When I was looking at what Symphonies were doing on the web.

So are you looking at getting more web traffic or clients?

If it's clients your looking for you should really invest a bit more time on getting referals from your clients.

I think on your site you have some color issues you could adjust but other than that your site looks fine.

Thanks for your suggestions. Yes we are trying to look for more traffic into our website, and would like to see if everything, from the title to the meta tags are optimized. could you clarify regarding the color issues too about our website.
