creating user game progress

ive currently made a game all from php pages , is there a database were i saves there progress/page etc.

any help will be appreciated.

what exactly do you mean?
you can use databases to save individual data for each user (including their progress, login names, etc).

exxactly, but is there away to do that with saving it to a text file script.
