I have created a form to insert data into a database. However, when I try to test it on my local testing server, I get the following error. For the life of me, I can't figure out what the problem is. Please help if you can. It seems to have something to do with permissions, but I am unable to figure out the answer.

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Disk or network error.

/Bidder Registration.asp, line 22

Liongate;

Did you ever find an answer to your problem? I am having the same issue. All the tech posting indicate adding IUSR permissions to the system TMP/TEMP folders. I've done that but still have the problem. :confused:

No, I've never solved the problem. Microsoft Tech Support couldn't solve it, and I'm not spending $175 for a tech support incident with Adobe/Macromedia:eek: , so I gave up. I frankly don't have the rest of my life to devote to it.

Thanks for your response. I spent all day to no avail. I finally reloaded a clean copy of the file and now it works. quite frustrating. :confused:
