Hi Jonathan,

I am a graphic designer by profession and I just dabble in web design and HTML. I frequently cruise the various forums for graphic applications on the www.tek-tips.com site. There are FAQs and many users including myself offer help to the less experienced. I'm sure you will find some creative help there.

well, maybe Jonathan doesn't wish for helpout with graphic design software, but with graphic design itself. At least that's what he writes. And that isn't quite the same. Now, I don't think there is or can be any site that gives a graphic design tutorial the way you can get a Photoshop tutorial, because graphic design is a set of complex skills that include aesthetic sensibility as well as such things as knowledge about typography and it's use in print. What you can find - rarely, but there are some - are forums where graphic designers present and discuss some topics. An example might be http://graphicdesignforum.com; but on the other hand, the forum we're in right now os one of them, too. Usually these forums don't have the same use as a forum on technical issues; design questions can't simply be solved that way; solutions are personal, require personal investment, lengthy processes etc. So, if this is what you need, you best just start working disgnwise yourself, see if you can find some teacher or school or else find someone skilled.
Don't know if this is of any help.
