Hi,

Please could you review my site. Im still really a beginner at webdesign and still learning as i go on. Anyway I had this idea a little while ago and went ahead with it.

Its called Football Club Tycoon. Basically its a site to advertise using football and with an extra fun side to it.

It's an interesting concept, but I'm going to dive straight in by informing you that the site is running totally illegally - even with your "Footballclubtycoon.com is not endorsed by any football club shown on this site" disclaimer at the bottom of the pages. I could list the reasons why, but I won't here.
Also, I fail to see any reason why people would want to visit the site once the 92 English league clubs have been sold... In fact, there is no reason unless you keep adding clubs to the list..? I presume that is what you will do?

On to the design...

Links using images are outdated and impractical - if someone has images turned off, how will they see the links?

The background - grey and white stripes - is too 'busy' for me with the blue sidebar and header...
Perhaps a lighter shade of blue, or white, would be better?

Your home page has nothing on it except for a Leeds United badge - where's the content? Give a little bit of info about what the site is about? The latest club to be sold? The most expensive club available to buy? A list of clubs available?

The newsblog - well, that could be featured on your home page? As long as it was up-to-date, it'll help in keeping the site looking fresh.
