Hello,I am a newbie and want to take up google adsense ads and a few affiliate progrms .For this purpose I hired
a webdesigner to make a site for me. Pl review my site and give your expert
opinion about it.What are the features required in a site for the above purpose,so that I can ask my designer to make the necessary modifications

Think I've lost the plot on web design then...

Re: the website you linked to (healthysweetchilly)...

- You've got no clearly defined colour scheme.
- Scrap the Flash header, or redesign it so it doesn't something other than what it does now.
- Sort out the links to those three pages - particularly the colour scheme.
- Get some content for the pages...
- Keep a consistent font colour, type and style throughout the pages

And if that site has been designed by a professional - I'm sorry, but hire a new one.

This is just my opinion (or review)
- Banner (top picture) how does it relate to chilly ??
- Title moves - does not add to page
- Obesity - no connection in article (pro or con) to chilly ??
- In article - use bullets for important points
- Where is the navigation menu (usually at the top (for tags) or at the left side for vertical menus and at the bottom for text menus for all but the index page (first page)
- Source code
-- no description - no keywords
-- revisit 1 day - means you add or change content daily
-- why flash - in this case no value
DON'T hire a professional - in this case you can do better with a CSS generator or template and a good editor (HTML + CSS) with HTML Tidy - might I recommend a free one (first page 2006 - which has HTML Tidy incorporated - or buy Dreamweaver on ebay for less than you paid the "professional website developer."
Does anyone else agree ??

- Index page left picture - these are bell peppers, not chilly peppers
- How does the article obesity relate to chilly peppers
- source code - there are 17 errors in the code
- Use an HTML Validator to check (so much for the professionals reputation)
- an example "CSE HTML Validator Lite" is free and it works as an Editor also.
Suggestions: Show different types of chilly peppers and their names.
- Also show the advantages, health wise
- Maybe describe the brief history of chilly from different countries
- Advantages of eating chilly
- Menus using chilly
- some chilly jokes - chilly cookoff from Texas is good
- How to grow chilly
- Any articles of chilly (not obesity - as many obese people eat chilly)

My friend you have thoroughly reviewed and pointed out the defects in my
website.I have to overhaul the site and pick a script relating to chilly .
Once again I thank you profusely for your feedback.
For me now it is like demolishing a house and rebuilding it from the foundation
level.But it is a must if at all I have to monetize my site.
