Image Changing with fade in fade out

I have searched hotscripts and the google search and this forum. I cannot find exactly what I am looking for so here goes.

Please take a look at this website....

.... notice in the middle of the page how the image changes automatically with a fade in a fade out effect.

Can this be done with javascript? Does anyone know where I can find a script to do this?

Thanks for the file! It is just what I was looking for. I would rather use javascript instead of flash so that the visitor does not have to download the flash player... however.... I have one more question..

I need a longer pause between pictures, that meaning when picture 1 fades in, i need it to hold for like 3 seconds before going into the fade out.

Also, is there a way to make the very last photo stay at full opacity instead of looping back to the first photo?
