I was wondering as i enquired before regarding setting up user accounts and a shopping cart system and got told i needed to do it using php, mysql and an application like phpmyadmin. Now if i didnt want to make my home computer the web server, are there any hosts out there where you can do what i need doing.

Only reason i dont want to pay for a host right now is because i am a new to this and dont really want to pay for hosting until website is fully set up and working.

Thanks for your replies

Hi, I do understand your points but setting something up on your home PC will limit you if you do infact decide to go live. Additionally you probably have a windows based PC and in my opinion it is not the best platform for MySQL and PHP. My suggestion would be to bite the bullet, take the plunge and commit to learning both MySQL and PHP. A small investment can get you a webhost with all that you need. I recently signed up for 1and1 which I have yet to have an opinion on but they are pretty cheap and run the latest versions of both on Linux.
