I have a customer who is printing a page of our site for their records. She is using Netscape. The entire web page prints except info they have keyed in the input fields. They show blank. I am not getting this problem when I print here. Any chance it could be a code problem or just her printer? Here is a link to the page in question:

Thanks!

Are you using netscape and it works? If you are using ie I would just guess it would be a netscape error, well not really an error, but just, a short comeing.

I found that this is some glitch with her version of Netscape, I'm not sure what version she was using but in both my versions of Netscape and IE it all printed fine. It also printed fine with her IE. Netscape was her default browser so I had her change the setting in IE which makes it check to see if it is the default browser when opened which is the way you're supposed to change it to the default browser. She is clicking a link in our monthly email to her and when she clicked the link, it still opened in Netscape for some reason so I then had her go into her file type settings and change htm and html to open with IE but STILL it opened with Netscape when she clicked the link. There are no other ways to change the default browser that I know of so I just emailed her the link to the page and had her copy/paste into IE and make it a Favorite as I know of no more solutions!

Can you remove the html file association entirely, then put it back with IE as the default?

Probably but I dont know how. You could just set ie back as the default browser, jut go to tools, internet options programs then click reset web settings. Ie will then be default.

I think he said he did that. I would go to the file associations & remove the .htm & .html extensions entirely, if possible. Then put them back in with IE as the associated app.
