hey, heres the story, i am currently starting work on a website refurbishment for a client and i want to download the client's origional site in its intirety with the folder structure entact as a backup and to include in a before and after piece in my barely-existant portfolio... now i can do this the slow way but it would be nice to find a program that would map the sight and download it for me, i just wanted to know wether there was such a program? and if so then which you would reccomend?

try searching for a FTP software, if you are on a mac I would recommend CyberDuck.

If you can't or don't want to log onto his server, zip/tar it up and download the result with FTP then search for a program called wget, which uses HTTP to pull a site down to your local system.

Webzip (http://www.download.com/WebZIP/3000-2377_4-10291412.html) is another - although not free, it is cheap and has a time limit trial download.
HTTrack (http://www.httrack.com/) is also good.
