Well, here's the thing. I'm trying to build I PC, so I was thinking of if I could get sponsors like FrozenCPU, AMD, ETC to sponsor my blog in exchange for free PC parts. That's a type of sponsorship I was looking for

They need to know that you have a certain amount of draw to your Web site to make it worth their while (otherwise, I'm up for guitar sponsors ...)

It's all about traffic. If you have enough traffic, the advertisers will come to YOU.

I'd recommend getting paid cash from your sponsors, that way you know that you aren't getting shortchanged. I doubt a sponsor would give you say a processor if they wouldn't have given at least the same amount in cash for advertising on your site. Also, it eliminates shipping costs. Either way, keep us updated, I'm interested in what a major company would do in this situation.
