Hi all I would be greatful if you could have a gander at this page and see what you think. If I have any glaring errors(it is validated) or anything that I can improve on. Interested to hear also how it looks in computers with different resolutions-it looks fine for me with firefox and IE. Thanks everyone.

I took a looksee.

I felt that this phrase

"Gain a unique insight into your industry
Medarc Ltd., incorporated in 1982, specialises in providing consultancy in healthcare, defence, property and the environment accross a wide range of industries."

needed a bit more emphasis. It took me a sec to understand what I was looking at, or why it would be helpful to me.

I think it suffers some design issues. It just doesn't entertain my eyes very much. I don't blame the designer though, I know sometimes this is what clients want.

Using 600 x 800 resolution and firefox
Nice design and layout - may want to look at the banner - it doesn't draw attention to something - the pictures are more interesting

what do you do ?? supply consulting or personnel - noticed you had a lot of building - again do you supply consultation and/or personnel - health care ??

Thanks p808 and falcon for the constructive criticism. When you say it doesn´t entertain the eyes very much do you mean I should put some flash in there?

falcon good point about the header I tried to sort it out with a new div called "whatwedo" where I give a description of what the client does. For some reason it screws up the page-why is that happening?:

best advice I can give you is 0catch.com has a beginners web design forum
- that supports their free website - this forum seems to be a very good intermediate forum - the disadvantage of the free website is the ads - but for development advice for beginners they are the best I found and I use them a lot but have my site on a paid provider. As far as detailed CSS, I am just learning, sorry I can't help more
