character printing in php

Hi,
I am developing some reports using php
i need to print those reports. when i am trying to print those reports i am getting printing. bt iam not gettign character printing on dotmatrix printer.

i need to print those reports in dot matrix printer on character mode.

can any one help me,please
it's very urgent to me.

Convert to an image then print =)
