Hi everyone, i was thinking of selling ad space on my site directly through my site, and was woundering, what is the best way to do this, and do you get advertisers to buy that ad space

What's in it for them? Does the website target their market? Your stats would be important to them to know how many unique hits and returning visitors you get, etc

So you need a fair amount of visitors daliy, but would it be better to to go with an advertising company, like clicksor, or would i be able to earn more out of doing it myself

In our experience, ***, we are still waiting until now til' our visitors per month go up to 10k to 15k or more. We tried to sell ads last two months ago (our hits only between 5k-6k) advertisers only offer very cheap CPM (click per thousand). I would suggest you wait a little til' you have enough hits per month. If you want, google ads work for little extra income per month too.

For now, I think you would want to concentrate on promoting your web site first. Besides, when you're site is famous, you need not to ask for advertisers they will come knocking on your door.
