Sux0rZh@jc0rz 08-18-2003, 08:48 PM depends what you what. if you find anything post it in my thread for newb help. Paul Jr 08-18-2003, 08:58 PM It has to be banner free. I can deal with pop-up ads, but no banner ads. Everything else, doesn't really matter. Sux0rZh@jc0rz 08-18-2003, 09:08 PM www.geocities.com - webpages for kiddies... has SOME potential due to perl compatability + html and javascript editor + unlimited bandwidth + user friendly.... but it really isnt as powerful as some other sites like www.ionichost.com (requires FTP transfer that YOU must provide) which has MySQL database, high speed, Pop-under advertising, PHP compatability...not sure if it allows for perl but im pretty sure it has JS and it obviously allows HTML.... Paul Jr 08-18-2003, 09:17 PM The second one sounds nice, but the link doesn't work. Sux0rZh@jc0rz 08-18-2003, 09:25 PM yes it does....you running netscape? http://www.coolfreepages.com this webserver has MANY names you can choose to put in front of your site ww*w.ionichost.c*om/YourSite ww*w.coolfreepages.c*om/YourSite Paul Jr 08-18-2003, 09:29 PM No, I am running Internet Explorer. Paul Jr 08-18-2003, 09:33 PM S'not workin' for me. Sux0rZh@jc0rz 08-18-2003, 09:38 PM http://www.ionichost.com/ ....dunno what to tell you. *copies off the page to show you what your missing* 50 megs disk space FTP account, unlimited updates(24/7) PHP4 support Search Engine Submission Dual Server T3 line(45 Mps connection) unlimited bandwidth MySQL database pyro 08-18-2003, 09:39 PM For a listing of hosts that support PHP (very important to me... ;)) take a look at http://www.free-php-hosting.com Paul Jr 08-18-2003, 09:40 PM Oh! Sux0rZh@jc0rz 08-18-2003, 09:41 PM i went there pyro....it just kept me in loops. sending to the same pages and only a few actually looked good to me=/ pyro 08-18-2003, 09:43 PM To be honest, I'm not a big fan of free hosting sites. I personally use and highly recommend http://www.dr2.net. Excellent featrures at a very fair price. Paul Jr 08-18-2003, 09:45 PM I'm 15 and I don't have a job. But I do have a $10-a-week Allowance:D pyro 08-18-2003, 09:47 PM Save for 4 weeks and you can get their base plan.... :) Sux0rZh@jc0rz 08-18-2003, 09:48 PM im 14 and i have no job... i do have a -5$ a week allowance....luckily i get christmas money so i can pay that negative allowance... :D :D :D Paul Jr 08-18-2003, 09:50 PM Pyro O' Great Godly Master Guru Of All, what's the Monthly fee? pyro 08-18-2003, 09:56 PM On their value plan, there is no month option. You would have to use their standard plan, which then costs $8 per month (or $80 yearly). But, the value plan is quite nice: 150 MB, 5GB transfer, and loads of features for $40 a year. More info can be found at http://www.dr2.net/?src=hosting Paul Jr 08-18-2003, 10:08 PM Hmmm...Many Thanks, Pryo. pyro 08-18-2003, 10:15 PM You bet... :) Sux0rZh@jc0rz 08-18-2003, 10:48 PM you bet? i bet! we all bet!
