Hi am doing a site by bringing Flash elements into Dreamweaver.
I am working on a Mac. Now I thought my site was working perfectly, however, when I check on another Mac and PC some buttons are missing.

Does anyone have any ideas why this may be and how I can over come it?

Thanks

are the images in the flash elements static or being loaded externally? could it be incorrect file paths to the images or the flash elements themselves?

sometimes when i upload pages to a remote server with local urls the site will still look and act correctly on my computer but when i view them on another computer its jacked up(as it should be). for instance, i can upload a page that points to the local version of a css file and it still displays correctly, but on another computer it can't find/see the local file and breaks.

probably a bit of a stretch for your situation but it's a possibility. can you post a url to view this?

Hi,

I think all my files are in the right place but I will re-check!

The url is http://www.essania.co.uk/
On the first page you come to there should be a 'skip intro' button on the bottom left and the flash movie should finish with a 'enter' button, however these are not showing on some computers. Can you see them?
Is it a possibility that it may be to do with how the buttons were created? I entered a text field then converted to a movie button then added a 'go to website' instance. Would that be the correct way to do this in flash?

Many thanks

Always make sure, you are working with your layers correctly working from top to toe.

This is the only reason I can see for you have had the invisible buttons.

yes, the skip intro and enter buttons are showing.

are you embedding the fonts in all the text fields you are using in your buttons? one possible reason they work on your computer is b/c the font you are using for the button is installed on your computer and no one elses...
