Select control - values change as user types

Hi, I am fairly new to the forum and I hope this is the right place to ask this

I am trying to code a select control where as someone types the option from the drop down it displays the page accordingly. ex: Option A, ab, abc - if user quickly types abc, it should instantly display the user abc.
