I've been working on a Flash application using Crystal Xcelsius 4.5 Professional. Long story short, Xcelsius doesn't really offer page load animations* and end users must stare at a bunch of white space while they wait for the Flash to load.
So because I don't think I'm going to be able to address the problem at that level, what options are left to me? I know how to create a very basic page loader in JavaScript, but not of a way to have it detect whether or not a Flash document has completed loading.
This is the only idea I actually have right now. Is it even conceivable? Are there any other options I haven't thought of yet?
Sorry for the double-post (http://webdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?t=157148). I just figured that this spans two different areas and wanted to make sure folks on both sides have a chance to sympathize with my plight.
* - Actually to be totally fair, it does offer page load animations but they are very, very limited and won't work in my case.
