history report of website visits/page views since inception

How can I find some sort of history report of visits/page views to a website since inception of the site? I have put counters on the sites recently, but I need to access this information from before the counters were installed. Thanks for any info on this anyone might have!

awstats (must be installed) can do it for you. It saves all its logs. You won't be able to find stats from before it was installed though but for the future it might be a good choice.

You could do it w/ Google Analytics too or Urchin (same company).

thanks, but can google analytics provide a report on history since inception? I wasn't sure how to find that on google analytics. I can track since google analytics and counters were set up, but the info I need is from before that. is there somewhere that can tell me history of visits/page views to a website since the site was launched initially?

If you didn't have the information stored from inception, say by your Web host, there's no way you will know.
