Some of my text is 1 point (my links pages). I had a comment that some engines, specifcally Google may not see 1 point text. Any truth to this?
Thanks,

Thanks, AdamGundry 08-21-2003, 05:30 AM While search engines will "see" the text (as it is in the HTML code), some (such as Google) may presume it is less important because of its smaller size. Depending on how it is used, they may think it is an attempt to fool the search engine and ignore your page altogether. If you want search engines to index your page properly, mark it up as valid HTML 4.01 Strict or XHTML 1.1. Why do you need 1px text? Adam Robert Wellock 08-21-2003, 10:56 AM Use semantic mark-up; font size should be controlled via CSS alone and Google is a blind searcher and cares not what font size you use though it understands structure and heading levels. webdeveloper.com
