Does anyone have any sites to recommend?

I want to be able to make a flash intro for my website.

Depends on if you want to edit true video, or do some animated thing. Or do a mixture of both.

The single best thing you could do is find free .fla files that are "intros". Open them in flash, and see how the designer scripted them. Do a few like that to get a grasp on it.

Google "free fla files" or "free .fla intro" something like that.
