http://www.boggscontracting.com/gs019.htm# (This site) is one I am doing. I got a template from somewhere and I've been modifying it. I'm not a very good programmer. I see that the menu buttons up at top right are images. But the text on the images is not what I want it to be. Like "Overview" should be "Principals" and etc.

What would be the easiest way to fix this? I can't spend forever on it. I have PhotoShop on disk but havn't installed because it's HUGE but I could if I have to. Would I have to create images in the exact dimensions? Problem is, the swirly patten there, I don't know how to dupe that.

Just use windows Paint, create your own images with a transparent background.
Find/create an image for the background - don't rip off someone else's.
Place your images in the table.

I didn't rip off anybody. I spent two hours searching the web for a totally free template that I liked.

I don't understand what you're saying. You mention background in both sentences. Are you talking about REPLACING the images with images I create or layering them over the top of the ones there now?

Just replace the existing button images i.e. btn_overview.gif,
with your own images of the same height and transparent background to the text.
All the menu buttons already have a background image.
