If Google is serious about becoming carbon neutral by 2008. Its Web Pages
"white-background" should be changed to darker-background like MicroSoft.
Imagine a billion users login, this planet will change forever !!
Moses have forgotten the 15th Commandments- "Thou shall not use
"white-background" for Web design"

Only if those billion users never do anything and have no screen saver. Those folks shouldn't have turned on their PCs in the first place. Imagine how much THAT would save. :)

And Yonge Street here in Toronto could curtail some of the thousands of illuminated banners, bulbs and signs on the main drag as well. -Remember the power outages a few years ago that blacked the NE US and alot of Ontario? The day the power came back on, all of the massive Las Vegas-esque lights came back on immedidately, and stayed on, despite please to 'conserve' to prevent the rolling blackouts that they predicted would have to occur until all power stations reported back in full service..
Shoot... I'll never forget that day the power went out... I was in the transit underground and we sat on the train for about an hour before they sent a battery-powered tractor down to pull us up to the next platform. And it was a 3-hour walk home from there... Absolutely no way was I going to get a ride on any of the buses... already filled to capacity and thensome with thousands of people hoofin' it!
-I did get to eat alot of ice-cream-on-a-stick and cones along the way home, though... businesses had set-up ice-boxes out front and were handing the stuff out for free because it was going to melt soon anyway.

Global Warming is just another way for the government to implement some kind of a tax and to justify "income tax", they say they need money to fix problems but do these problems ever get fixed. I'm pretty sure income tax was just suppose to be during WW1 but did they get rid of it, no because they enjoy taking the hard working mans money and driving around in their brand new corvettes while we have to drive around in our brand new "used" cars
