I was just doing a search on all members who registered before December 25, 2002 (just out of curiosity, to see if any of the members who registered way back then are still active today...One of them is, who was active a month ago who registered late 2002....) and I came across "Balbert". Balbert was an administrator, who registered October 30, 2002, and was last active August 26, 2004. That's normal enough. However, in these two years of activeness, this person didn't make a single post. No contact information, no posts... just a dead membership. What puzzles me is that if they took on an administrator duty, why didn't they do anything?

This is quite mysterious to me... maybe one of the current, active ;) administrators may be able to shed some light on this....

Administrator probably means s/he worked for JupiterMedia. (Regular members may be selected as "moderators", but I think only employees are admins.) His/her job may have had nothing to do with forum content, but maybe something like server/network administration or such.

I'm active quite a bit but I normally never post, I just search the forums for the problem I am having and read the solution

Precisely why we don't allow editing or deletion of posts/threads. So the forum can function as a searchable knowledge base.
