play of mp3 through browser simply by clicking on link

hi..

how can i do this:

i have a text link say um..
"listen?"
and i want this to play an mp3 when clicked.. but without a plugin or something..

is it possible??

EDIT: Whoops...just re-read your post and saw you wanted to do this without a plugin...sorry. You can't play an MP3 without a plugin from a browser. You can however, have them download the mp3 and use a media player on their computer to play it. If you want to have them listen to it from within a browser window you will need to have some kind of plugin. See below for suggestion.

um.. if i wanted the mp3 to be downloaded as well.. er.. how am i to do that??
