I sometimes see Web Applications where you can use your Network login id and password that I used for logging into my local Windows 2000 Workstation for the Web Application login.
For example, I will login to the network on my local workstation.
Then I pull up a Web Browser and put in the same login and password to to get into the Web Application.
Please advise how that works? Does the Server Side Web Software have access to a Server database (that has all the Company users Login info) and if so what would be the database and info I need to know for me to enable this in my Web Application?
