I am having many issues trying to install MySQL 5.0. First I get an error that the port is already in use. Then when I try to uninstall, it won't let me end the instance or stop the web service or delete the MySQL folder. I know that there was some kind of bug in the installation, but I can't remember it. It had something to do with deleting specific files from the MySQL folder and then the instance? I can't remember, but it's a shame that the install can't be just straight forward. Anyway, can someone please please help me? I need to get rid of the instance and somehow somehow be able to install it. Thank you for your help.
