Because we've not had much interest shown in those technologies, I suppose.

But I do think Java and JSP are necessary parts of the web.
And they are rich in new things.

Java and JSP are not nearly as widely used as PHP, JavaScript, etc. If you are looking for a JSP/Java forums, though, check out this one: http://forums.devshed.com/f9/s.html

I think there are just to many things alrdy covered in these forums and they wanna make some things standardized instead of all these damned different programming/scripting languages(i hate learning new languages..)
