harro all. if i don't know you then i'm not talking to you directly, but feel free to read anyways. that being said:

I'm making a browser text game named Xaxei. It's midevil fantasy based on kingdom building(simplified to keep focus on leveling your own character instead of just your kingdom). I alrdy have all the stats for it. just experimenting and brainstorming atm. i'm getting help to code it from an EXPERT that i know personally so it shouldn't take long to make the game.(approx: 2months) but beta testing and balancing out of the game should take another month. expect to hear more from me as i will be opening beta's to members of this web forum ONLY(you can tell your friends but i'd prefer that you didn't unless u convince them to use these forums).

Current stage of developement: first stages of coding

No specifics yet=P if you would like to post an idea to me you can PM me though.(i know it will be generalized or something that was missing from other games you might like seen in mine seeing as im not giving specifics yet)

Why would you spend 2-3 months making a game in JavaScript? That is an awful long time to spend making a game that at best is going to be ok... JavaScript just doesn't have the power to do anything that big. That's my opinion anyway. ;)

who ever said i was doing it in only javascript??? im using asp too. to save bandwidth its going to be mostly clientside work, ergo: javascript for a nice clean low bandwidth interface with asp doing the main work behind it to make it a powerful multiplayer online game. (guess i forgot to say its a mmorpg?)

As a person who spent time being a computer programmer, if there are no specs, then you are not in the first stages of coding. You are merely in the planning stages at this point.

i meant no spec's as in i'm not releasing them because they are subject to change when we test the game to balance it out.
last night we actually did some coding to test our combat systems and changed about 400230420 things so that's why i'm not releasing any specs.
