Ive set up a computer, when I start it, the computer flickers and won't boot.
But I noticed that when I take out the 4 PSU Pin in the Mobo the computer runs but does not boot.
I actually had it working earlier, I got it to boot then I shut it off to add the harddrive to install XP and it is again doing the same thing.
Any ideas?
Are there any beeps? If there are none when it "turns on but no video"..
Re-seat video card and make sure you don't have it screwed down to tight. Also, try reseating your ram.

If it does beep:

Scroll down a little, and there's a table with an explanation of different beep patterns.

4PSU pin? Do you mean that you have a 20+4 mobo plug?
The 4PSU plug is not meant to plug in anywhere on the board unless it is attached to the 20Pin plug!
So if you have pluged it in on the mobo you could be dumping DC voltage on a rail not designed to accept any current AND you could have just burnt your mobo out...
If you cant get BIOS screen up then you prolly junked a perfectly good board.
Something called learning curve!
If you have a 4 pin plug for Hardware, and the hardware is not operating then your rail for that supply could be down and try another and if that doesn't work, try the hardware in another PC as it could be the hardware.
If you have a multi-meter, put it in DC mode and check for voltages of +12v +5v are present.
