how do u i use alpha and filter to change
the blurness of an image or thing like that?

and i want to make it half transparent or 80%
transparent!
i thought using alpha and filter i did :
document.all["divCheckUp"].filters.alpha.opacity=50;
but i get anerror what 2 do?
