Protecting from expired pages

After my pages have processed data and are redirected to a new page, I would like to remove access to the previously viewed or "expired" pages. Ultimately the effect I would like to have is something similar to ebay or paypal where the "page has expired" message would appear, but even something as simple as disabling the back button or clearing the history in the browser would create the same effect. Any suggestions would be helpful.
