Disappearing divs

I have a three divs that I have inserted at the bottom of my page template (mediawiki). One for bottom navigation, second for a footbar, and third for footer. They all show OK in Firefox, but just disappear completely in IE. Can someone advise on how to fix this ?

As one of my dearest friends (me) often says : "It's a good thing I wasn't bleeding".
Problem sorted at last. I had mistakenly commented out some divs. Wondered why Firefox didn't obey the instruction though. Silly twit.
