I suggest you download the browser Firefox, and the Web Developer (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/60) plug-in, then you can see for yourself with (select, right click) View Selection Source , and CSS|View CSS (though) I prefer CSS|Edit CSS - which allows you to play with the CSS, which instantly lets you see what happens as the CSS is edited).
