How to creat a Filter.

Hello, I need some help on my site, I would really appreciate any help...

here is what I want my site to do, I'm using Dreamweaver CS3

I have lots of text with hyper links to other pages, for Example

1. Link 1
2. Link 2
3. Link 3
4. Link 4
5. Link 5

now if links 1,3,4 has X value and 2,5 has Y value, is it possible for me to put
a button on the site that when a user clicks X button it will only show links with
X value. and Y button will only show links with Y value. ?
