the javascript forums had two sub forums, one for "write this code for me" and the other one for debugging.

but its just wishful thinking, i know. it will never happen.

We don't do "write this code for me", although many people ask for that. We try to help when people have problems but if they need something from scratch, they should try one of the free sites (http://javascript.internet.com/) or hire someone.

What Lee said. We think of the forum as a place to come and get help with coding, not a place to get it done for you. If someone wants coding done for them, they should hire a coder.

im right with you guys. i would mainly visit the "debugging" forum. however, i see far too many posts with "heres my idea -- do it." i hate those!!!

The way around those is...don't respond :)

ive always found that as sending a mixed signal. it seems like it would be more straightforward to actually respond and berat-- i mean, suggest to them that this is a support forum
