I think you picked a very standard schema for placement that works.

I don't see any inherent issues.

as tgormtx said, the ads are nicely placed on the site.

and your site is really nice, but i don't like the repeted "Mesothelioma" in the menu links is distracting, and confuses the eye (mine at least)

i know you weren't looking for a website review though... just my thoughts.

Frankly I don't like the ad placements because I/the user could very easily click on them by accident. I understand you are trying to maximize profit but in reflection I am left with a 'shady' feeling about your website.

Case 1. Top google links under banner might confuse as a top-level navigation.

Case 2. Lawsuit articles on the left hand side is mixed with your own pages and google ads. You actually do this on subpages as well.

I agree with the cited repeated "mesothelioma" link text mentioned above, -it produces what in technical writing is I think called 'rivlettes', -'small rivers', -it causes the eye to follow 'paths' of white-space. 'Rivlettes' are the reason we use 'lorem ipsum dolar' to populate text fields to feign 'real content' instead of "text goes here" repeated a few hundred times.

The blue-on-white and white-on-blue text is dangerously close to being exceedingly difficult to read for certain types of colorblindness. There should be '100 to 120 points difference' between foreground color ("text") and background-color, and I think this is probably 100 or less (in base-16 counting). -Colorblind individuals are likely to have problems reading this...

Overall though, -nice layout. :)
