I am trying to add password protection to my site for FTP users (customers). They will have their own individual folders at my site, but they will need a customer number and a password assigned to them to access their folder. Regular folder protection will not work because they will be using FTP not http.
They currently login into ftp://209.177.245.27, and when they put in their name and password it takes them to their own personal folders. I do not know how this process works because I did not develope the current site.
any help is so greatly appreciated. I am a novice.
