Hi,

I wondering if anyone can help me with this problem.
I'm trying to find out to how programme a medical machine, (a radiograph or ultrasound for example), using C++, Visual C++ or Java.

I need to know how a programme would capture the signals and then translate them as an image-map.

Has any of you had previous experience with such programming and would be able to tell me some links to sites that could help me with this?

Thanks for your time,

Cristina.

Software for medical equiment is better left to professionals. You should be concerned not only with the code itself but a bunch of compliance issues (if you plan to sell your equipment in US that will be FDA).

I shouid of explained that it's for college research and that I'm not trying to market the final project, but thanks for your reply anyhow.

Vladdy makes a good point. If you mis-code something by the slightest incriment it could make the difference of a doctor saying you have a tumor or a doctor saying your A-OK.

(ok that was a bit dramatic but you know what I mean. Already been enough law suits against hospitols as-is and you don't wanna join the list of victims/villians.)
