I've built an application but I'm getting some weird permissions error message.
Can someone read thru it and offer any suggestions? What does it all mean??!? :(

make sure the user account you're using to connect to the db has permissions to do selects from the tables. to do this, go into MSSQL Management Studio (if you have it - otherwise a DBA might) and right click on the database you're connecting to...from there go to properties, then click on permissions. check to make sure that user exists and has access to do selects from the db. that's the best I can offer. hope it helps.

or can explicitly grant permission

GRANT SELECT on [PAGE] to [USERNAME HERE]
