Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : I'm not receiving Javascript Source scripts by email

I subscribe to the Javascript.com Newsletter which I find extremely useful. When I click a link in the newsletter it takes me to a page for that particular script. If I use the "We'll send this script to you!" to have the script emailed to me, I never receive it in my inbox. I check my inbox using webmail in my browser and the script is not delivered.

I have double and triple checked the email address to send the script to and it is correct.

Any ideas what's happening?

Did you check your spam folder?

The emails are not going to any folder in my mailbox, spam, trash, inbox.

I was hoping to receive a reply from a moderator or someone connected to the Javascript site. This is not a troubleshooting issue about how to receive email. I would hope they could shed some light on how the emails are sent and why they would either be blocked by my host (who claims they are not doing this) or at the least look into a possible reason.

If you email provider is AOL, Verizon, Comcast, or Yahoo, they are known to block lots of our emails.

Thanks for the reply,

The emails are being sent to my domain which is hosted by opensourcehost.com. Actually, when I had the script sent to my yahoo.com email address it was delivered with no problem. I checked with opensourcehost.com regarding this issue and they said they were not blocking any internet.com emails.

Could you let me know specifically which ones are involved? I manage the site so, if need be, I can set the files up.

Any script I choose to send myself fails to arrive in my mailbox. As a test I selected two scripts, one from the recent Javascript newsletter and one from September of this year.

I get the popup window after clicking the "Send It!" button:
from the 11/09/07 newsletter:
The redirect-to-last-page-visited.html script was sent to blank@blank.com.

from the 09/28/07 newsletter:
The view-selected-information-with-images.html script was sent to blank@blank.com.

Neither script was received in the mailbox for blank@blank.com.

When I sent the above scripts to another email address I have hosted by a different service than alauck.com, the scripts are received with no problem.

I'm quite stumped by this. Up to a month or so ago I was receiving the scripts at my mailbox blank@blank.com without a problem.

Obviously, if you received them at another address, it is not a problem on our end. Evidently your provider for alauck.com sees it as spam. You'll need to check with your provider as it's a problem on that end.
