Closing popup window and opening new one

Hi all

I have a page with thumbnails which open popup windows when clicked. The page is at: www.hughsart.com/boules_01.htm

Can anyone tell me how I can have a popup window close when a user clicks a second thumbnail and the new popup replaces it please?

As it is all popup windows remain open - but hidden. This also means that if a popup is clicked for a second time it then doesn't popup (as it is hidden) and not everyone would realise that.

I was going to post as info/question my modification of:

I also wanted it to do what you asked for in your post. I modified it so as to close the Popup when you are done looking at it as well as allow access to the images from non-Java.

This is my first attempt ever at Java anything so don't rip my kludge too badly. I am sure there is a cleaner way of doing it. In fact that is my question, is there a ‘righter’ way of doing this?
