Animation GIF? HOW?

Hi,

Does anyone know how to make those animated GIF icons you see on websites? Ive got a set of pictures but just dont know how to stick them together to make it move!?

Any help would be great!

You need an animated gif creator - ie some software. Like these here:

You may already have one. Flash exports it's movies as animated gifs, Photoshop comes with ImageReady, which allows you to create animated gifs by hand; Fireworks does so, of course. Usually Flash is the most comfortable of them. Depends on what you want to do.

Ulead Gif Animator is free to try or buy for a reasonable price at download.com I personally use Photoshop/Image Ready to create Gif animations. But I prefer to create Flash animations as they download faster provided you have compressed them properly.
