Dreamweaver 8 Images not showing on browser

I am designing a web page using Dreamweaver 8 and I have several graphics (both gif and jpg). When I preview in a browser (doesn't matter which one), none of the graphics show up. Help would be appreciated. Thanks, Techlade

How are you linking to them - with absolute or relative linking? Also, is the file structure on your test box similar to that on production?

My file structure is as shown in Dreamweaver. I have also copied all images into the root directory. I will check whether I am using relative or absolute links when placing the images. Thanks, I am pulling my hair out.

Its probably not linking to the image. I created a folder and put all my images in there it makes it easy to find.

I had the same problem when designing web page using Frontpage. I didn't know what to do, so I just re-check the links. And there it was, I have placed the wrong image file. Now I always double check every details before upload my webpage to server.
