This file has been downloaded ## times?

I was wundering if someone could sujest or help me build a very simple script which will go on a page full of download links and tell how many times each file has been downloaded? So it would be on my page like this:

1. Myfile1.exe "downloaded 1 time(s)"
2. Myfile2.exe "downloaded 7 time(s)"

I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks. :D
