Hi two simple questions:

1. I want to publish to a free hosting site, without ads, that support a php form? Any ideas....

2. In dreamweaver 8 I have a template. In the template there is a menu bar.
(made of up/ over images)

Home | Photos | hobbies | links.

I've added a layer to the links up image, the layer (drop down menu) should show and hide on mouse over on the links button.

Now it works sometime, but other times when I preview it wont show??? Have you had experience of this?

Also when I add a layer behaviour a yellow "tag" appears, and pushes the image out of line slightly; upsetting the appearance of the menu (no longer straight) How do I fix this?

Thks in advance. P.S Great forum.

Don't know any free servers that offer that, but I have seen godaddy recommended as a cheap option (haven't used them myself, preferring a local Australian hoster).

Using Dreamweaver's "layers" and behaviours to build a drop-down menu system will result in bloated, cross-browser unfriendly code that is dependant on javascript to work, thereby preventing 10% of your audience from navigating the site. I would recommend changing the menu system to the sukerfish method (http://alistapart.com/articles/dropdowns), that uses much cleaner code and no javascipt for modern browsers.

NEVER allow Dreamweaver to "create" code for you, and never rely on Dreamweaver's design view window to represent what the site will look like - always preview in browsers (at least FireFox as the main one plus checking in IE6). Dreamweaver is a great tool (I use it myself), but you need to use it as a tool to assist writing valid, semantic code via the code view window.
